Sirmione, a jewel to discover

It is a small and narrow peninsula in Lake Garda, a place where we can admire a wonderful lake view: here is Sirmione!

We know that it has been inhabited since the Bronze Age and later even the ancient Roman nobles stayed in Sirmione, transforming it as a place of holiday excellence and relaxation among the steaming thermal waters!

Even today you can still admire the ruins of a Roman villa in the archaeological area of the Grotte di Catullo. While the imposing Castle “Scagliero”, the symbol of the city of Sirmione, was built for defensive purposes in the fourteenth century. In few words, a small strip of land, with so many things to explore and visit for both children and adults!

The thermal waters of Sirmione

Thermal spring water is a precious resource, comes from rainwater that runs deep underground for millennia and then emerges on a surface rich in minerals.

Here they installed a special maze of steel pipes to which thermal water is taken directly to the hotels and spas in Sirmione.

The thermal water has a high concentration of sulfur and is excellent in the treatment of many conditions related to: the respiratory system (allergy and inflammation), muscles and joints, the skin (psoriasis and acne) and some gynecological disorders.
