Terme di Castrocaro represents one of the points of reference of the Italian hot springs industry. It has been famous since the middle of the nineteenth century for its green salso-bromo-iodic waters, among the richest in mineral salts found in nature. It is also known for its natural muds and its sulfurous waters, all of which have been used therapeutically since 1938.
