Excursion included in the package
Half day excursion and dinner at Agriturismo “I Quattro Venti”.
The farm is located in Villanovaforru, on a Marmilla hill. This tour offers the opportunity to learn about the territory of the farmhouse and the daily life of the farming world and its traditions. The tour begins with a walk around the farm to visit the woods, the streams, the grazing animals and the beautiful landscapes. Then you visit the inside of the farm where you can see and touch the preparation of traditional Sardinian dishes (such as the preparation of roast suckling pig), the preparation of fresh pasta, cheeses, meats and so on. Many of these products will be tasted during dinner.
According to the season, you have the opportunity to know and touch the harvest, the harvest of olives and mushrooms, the shearing of the sheep, the milking of the animals. All this will be accompanied by the story of the history of the farm by the owner. The tour ends with a pleasant dinner with tasting of food and wines from the farm.
