Montecatini Terme
Tuscany region
Montecatini Terme is located in the Valdinievole area, between Pisa and Florence and it is famous for its hot springs. It can be considered the largest “SPA city” in Italy. The thermal baths of Montecatini are known for their alkaline saline-sulfate waters and known since ancient times. The water from the Rinfresco, Tettuccio, Regina and Leopoldine springs, flows out warm from the ground. Their use mainly concerns the gastrointestinal tract for those who suffer from gastritis, difficulty in digestion, meteorism, reduced liver and bile function, as well as diseases of the colon – from the irritated colon to divertics and constipation.
