Our Company

Health Medical Tourism Italy was born from the collaboration between Termetour, an Italian tour operator with over 25 years of experience in incoming and health tourism, and Kristin Maria Stensrud, a health professional with more than 27 years of experience in hospitals and clinics in Oslo.

“Health Medical Tourism Italy” is a brand of Termetour Srl, an Italian tour operator operating in the field of incoming and health tourism for 25 years. The project has been created from the collaboration between Termetour and Kristin Maria Stensrud who has more than 27 years of experience in the health sector as a nurse in various hospitals and clinics in Oslo. Her knowledge of the territory, the Italian culture and of many spas and clinics specialized in psycho-physical rehabilitation guarantees a perfect synergy with the tourist organization experience of Termetour. The combination of medical knowledge and specialized tourism incoming for Italy has given birth to this first and big project in medical tourism in Italy.

Project Manager. Educated nurse since 1992, from Norway.

She has worked at Akershus University Hospital, both in the field of infection medicine and at the Children’s Department. She has worked at the ward unit at Rikshospitalet and also within geriatric in a private nursing home. In periods she works as a nurse at Kjerulfs gate apartments in Lillestrøm. Kristin has lived many years in Italy and loves the country, the culture, landscape and way of life. She speaks Italian, English and Norwegian. Today she works with Health Medical Tourism in Italy and is your contact person who helps you to plan and organize your treatment holiday in Italy.

Trine Cecilie Røiseland

Consultant. Educated nurse since 1991, from Norway.

She has worked in elderly care since she was 18 years old, both as a nurse and as a leader. For several years she owned and operated a private nursing home with 28 patients near Oslo. She also has experience from hospitals and municipal health services.Trine is “Service minded” and likes helping others. For 9 years, she was leading the Service Office in Vestby Municipality. In recent years she has taken further education in dermatology and cosmetology, and is specially trained to treat skin diseases and wounds.Trine also provides cosmetic treatments and guidelines for skin care that promotes overall skin improvement. In addition to this, she works as a Course Instructor for the Red Cross and holds courses in basic first aid and defibrillator.
Giovanni Fabbrico

Director and owner of  Termetour Srl from Italy.

He has a multidisciplinary education. He is  graduated in philosophy, and scholar of psychology and  holistic disciplines. He has been professor in many Italian superior schools and  coach in systemic constellations and management. Since 1992 he has many experiences in the tourism business creating new touristic companies.

He is specialist in Medical Hydrology, Doctor of Chiropractic degree (USA)  Homeopathic medicine and Acupuncture. Doc. Marcotulli is scientific director of  Terme di Montecatini.

Doc. Antonio Fimiani

Surgeon specialized in physiotherapy and medical hidrology, from Italy.

Director of Terme di Ischia and vice-president of the Italian Scientific Society of Posturology. He is professor at Forschungsgruppe – Posturologie in Heilbronn (Germany) and theacher in many medical institutes in Italy. He is author of medical books. Doc. Fimiani is one of the medical consultant for Health Medical Tourism in Italy.

Irene Marta Fabbrico

Social media and marketing responsible in Termetour Srl and HMTI, from Italy.

Irene is graduated in Tourism operation and Design and Management of Art and Cultural Events at the University of Florence. She has long experience with events, meetings and incentives organization.

Sandro Baronti
Sandro Baronti

Business strategic consultant specialized in the Spa, Wellness and Thermalism fields, from Italy.

He managed the Spa/Wellness and Medical areas at STB Group (Fonteverde, Grotta Giusti and Bagni di Pisa). As freelance consultant he created the “SPA is Wonderful” brand. This enabled him to cooperate with various companies such as Terme di Fiuggi,  Villa Undulna & Terme della Versilia,  Grand Hotel Terme in Castrocaro and many others. In the training field, his modules “SPA Management” and “Spa Revenue” are included in the masters in many University as Rome, Pisa, Bologna and  Rimini superior institute of Tourism. Currently he is Director of SPA & soft medical operations at Terme di Saturnia SPA & Golf Resort.

We want to create a positive change in lifestyle and quality of life for people of all ages also for those with health challenges or problems related to illness or trauma. We create treatment and vacation packages compatible with clinical condition and personal needs. We wish to give people occasion to live their life to the fullest, and focus on opportunities instead of limitations.

Each medical therapy and spa facility we work with has been carefully tested, so we only offer travel to facilities with the medical and scientific qualifications necessary to provide the best treatment. This combined with some of the most beautiful, accessible and calming locations in all of Italy, provides a therapeutic break for both body and mind.

All programs can be tailor made to fit personal or medical needs compatible with clinical conditions. Our team is composed of both norwegian experienced health workers and italian tour operators which have been working with tourism for more than 20 years. We work with customers from all over the world with Italy as a destination. We can offer advice and assistance in any situation.
